What a massive time for change, transformation, development, growth and shine! Purely strong creative and transformative energy. We have the Moon in Capricorn in opposition to the summer Cancer Sun. But the Moon is conjunct Saturn in his domicile Capricorn. Pluto is also in the area!
You can be absolutely sure that this is a key time for the future that is about to unravel. However, that “shine” relies purely upon the choices you make now, and how you bring into life your strength when important developmental challenges present. Because they come, and almost unannounced.
Let us welcome the Full Moon in Capricorn.
“Grinning precociously we smile smugly and wave to the stars so overjoyed.
Instantaneously the reawakening of robust ingeniousness is recalling
a meditation of interacting waves of perception augmenting our constancy.
With a contemplative clairvoyance we usurp the fourth dimension lit
with oversight and clarity proceeding reservedly and forthright
toward our personal relevance and inner confidence received with gentility.”
The Full Moon shines beautifully. And she represents the luminosity of the possibilities that we can create. Possibilities filled with experience, learning and wisdom; but also with mistakes, wrong steps and detours towards the right path. It is a cycle of development and transformation.
But the astrological landscape is challenging. Challenges come, and almost unannounced. We got to be ready to face them with strength and intelligence. Having awareness from the past, and humbleness towards the future; by taking the lessons from our past actions as “tour guides” for the next unknown steps.
These days are more demanding. And we can easily get into some sort of darkness, as our mind and hearts become trapped in the ambushes from the ego, and our strong ambitions (together with self-centred high expectations) block the flow of our free creative stream. Anxiety can be a full theme, together with fears and desperation, crippling us down.
Sensitive week, in which subconscious fears can arise. In some way, we know that something big is happening, and it is frightening at the same time. We know we are transitioning, but we are so attached to old crystallised patterns of behaviour and preconceptions of how things “should be”.
We feel we are ready to step into the future and we want it to manifest now, easy and the way we think it “should be”. But we are lacking humbleness. We are lacking perspective. There is a lot of rigidity. A rigidity stopping us from destroying outmoded extinct patterns: beliefs, behaviours, values, preconceptions, expectations and priorities.
The Sabian* Symbol for the degree of the Full Moon (6° Capricorn) displays:
“Ten logs lie under an archway leading to darker woods”,
To which Rudhyar adds: “The need to complete any undertaking before seeking entrance to whatever is to be found beyond”.
This means that we are all standing in a threshold leading us to a whole new phase in our lives. We have completed one phase and we are transitioning into a new one, perhaps a more challenging one. But also more exciting, and richer.
The energy of this Full Moon can be masterfully channelled into positive and growth-oriented actions in manifestation.
One way is by contemplating the current environment of where are we now. Our battles, our victories, but also our losses; did we learn from all the times we failed? Did we truly learn? Put those lessons into solid concrete statements. And then, after putting it all on the table, we have to see the meaning of what this phase was all about. We are culminating, but what did we culminate? What is its ultimate meaning?
For some it will be something in their career. For some it will be a milestone in their life. For some it will be family. For some it will be spiritual development. For some it will be developing a function within their personality. Developing a strength.
In any case, we are here now, and we must continue. But before, we must stop and contemplate this.
And the other way is by visualizing and planning a clearly defined objective and its ultimate meaning. And this starts with visualization, clearly, with calm and patience, allowing everything to come in. And then redefining this visualization. This is followed by planning strategically what steps should be taken. Thinking about all the options. Drafting the plan. Editing it. Correcting it. Thinking about unforeseen things and their solution. Having a Plan B.
With calm, ease and enjoyment. Let the light of the Full Moon take you over, but not anxiety. Making the act of planning a joyful experience, instead of a torturous one. Planning sometimes make us fear, worry, and become anxious.
But there is such a powerful concentration of energy. And we are able to conduct it and manifest it constructively. Capricorn in opposition to Cancer reminds us that every second we have the magic to create and recreate our life. But we got to take control of it with all its positive and negative trends, instead of letting negative trends control us.
When talking about objectives, people always relate it to career, work or professional development. And indeed, these are important objectives for many people at the moment. But for others, this is not an area that needs further attention. For some others a clear defined objective can be losing or gaining weight. Or learning a new discipline. Or doing a meaningful travel. Or finding inner peace with oneself. Or discovering the way. Or maybe even learning how to drive!
Engage consciously and whole-heartedly in the design of how you want to build whatever you want to build while still enjoying the process and learning. Without high expectations and bets on the chances of success, but more on the great process of learning and development. Cultivating humbleness, flexibility, patience and the ability to accept the challenges and the necessary sacrifice that sometimes is required. This is vital. With an open spirit, a strong but flexible mind, and openheartedly, we are ready to step into the unknown exciting future. In humbleness with the whole universe.
