In the middle of a season meant to regain equilibrium in our lives, a season which prepares us for the heat or the cold, we come to meet the Full Moon in Aries, a special day charged with active creative and transformative fire. The type of energy that is necessary to overcome, destroy or to begin something. Only we know what we need to destroy, to overcome or to begin.
The days compassing this Full Moon phase have the capacity to make us move and do what we must in our current situation, and this is a powerful gate we must pass through, in order to move further into the cold, into the wild, into the adversity and into the whole beautiful challenging chaos that life is all about. Full of exciting moments, some of them harder, some of them easier, but each of them with a special spark of wisdom and experience. Each with a special dose of magic and art. Of poetry and grace.
Let us navigate through some important astrological remarks for the upcoming days and their symbolical meaning, but first, let us welcome the Full Moon in Aries:
It’s not the big bang
It’s not the force of gravity
It’s a force beyond imagination
Yet it’s a force within us
It is at the center of our Souls
It’s made of Love and for Love
It’s seen in the beauty around us
It’s there in the artist’s imagination
It’s prominent in nature
It was there in the beginning
It’s an eternal force
It’s force for good
It does not destroy
It only creates
The Moon is in Aries opposite the Sun in Libra. The Sun in Libra is in a conjunction with Mercury, while the two are in a square with Saturn in Capricorn. And Saturn in Capricorn is in a square with the Aries Moon.
So we can sense a great deal of cardinal force in this day. A force which if properly used can bring very positive effects on the upcoming events this year; but if negatively, can aggravate our situation or create new sources for further problems (especially when it comes to relationships of all kinds, managing our responsibilities, and work-related issues).
To understand this better, cardinal signs are signs with an initiatory quality, with a strong creative force and a powerful impetus for bringing things into action or movement.
Aries is cardinal fire, and is the most active, fiery and impulsive of all signs. It is loaded with the desire to do things, change things and simply act or get moving. And just as these are very positive qualities, there is also a downside in this. The Aries energy, if improperly used, can create interpersonal problems as we place the main focus only on ourselves, and can represent the release of an anger rooted in lack of interpersonal understanding or a feeling of being ununderstood.
While the Moon is in Aries, our personal needs become stronger, and we start to place a special focus on ourselves. In addition, our emotions and our feelings can get aggravated as we might feel attacked under certain situations, and with a defensive response. This can be more visible in our interpersonal relationships with our loved ones, friends and at work.
In addition, Venus in Scorpio is also moving away from the orb of a square with Mars in Aquarius, but the sign-based square is still operating. And Mars is conjunct Black Moon Lilith in Aquarius. So this can indicate the manifestation of a special sort of repressed nature within us, or rebellion towards an unfair situation (especially in the work-place).
Mercury in Libra in square to Saturn in Capricorn amplifies activities ruled by Saturn. Libra is the exaltation of Saturn, while Capricorn is the domicile of Saturn. We can feel worried about our personal finances, about our work or career, we can feel pressured by the needs of our loved ones, or we might hesitate towards taking the steps towards something new. There can be a great deal of confusion when dealing with making decisions.
Nevertheless, the solution to all of this lies on the Libra polarity of developing understanding of the human nature and of how different each of our heads operate. This, coupled with the Aries optimism and courage to create something good or to fix problems and that special type of kindness typical from Aries, can bring matters into a healthy balance.
If we observe, the Sabian Symbol for the degree of this Full Moon at 2° Aries, displays something very interesting:
“A comedian reveals human nature”
To which Rudhyar adds: “The capacity to look objectively at oneself and at others”. This has a lot to do with the Aries polarity. You would not be surprised to see a lot of similarities in opposite signs. In astrology, the opposition is associated with equilibrium, with bonding two opposite parts through their similarities and through what each part has to offer to the other one in order to attain wholeness.
Libra, is the polarity of Aries, and Libra has to do with relationships, with understanding the other person, learning together with other person and aiming to create consciously balance. It is important to note that the Libra quality does not mean a natural state of equilibrium or balance, but the desire to attain it! In addition, Libra has to do with finding equilibrium in all sort of situations and with bringing chaos to harmony and peace.
One of the best ways to merge the Aries Moon with the Libra Sun is through good and positive social contact, through fun activities, sports or art. Always using similar interests as a connective tool between two persons. Another way is to engage into artistic, literary works, music and activities which can bring peace and serenity to our souls. When we are in peace with ourselves, we can also be in peace with others. When we understand our own nature, with all its ups and downs, we can also understand the nature from others.
Maintaining healthy relationships at work, diplomacy, respect, politeness, are all qualities associated with Libra. On a different scenario, the artistic arrangement of elements is also a Libran quality. And enjoying “good things” is also part of the Libra spectrum.
Finally, remember that the Aries Moon represents a special gate for us. A gate of creative, destructive, transformative and liberating energy. But we must use this energy wisely, positively and with care (Mercury in Libra).
Take these days to live consciously, paying attention to your needs and the needs from others. Remember to not overreact, but instead, give yourself plenty of time to analyse your situation in love, work or other relationships. Open your capacity to operate with objective understanding, and discover what must be created, destructed or transformed in your life, in order to experience the liberating calm ecstasy of personal and interpersonal pure harmony.
