The Full Moon in Gemini is happening the 23rd of November 2018, at 0° Gemini 52′ at 6:39 AM CET (+1:00) or 12:39 AM EST (-5:00). Not your time zone? Click here.

Well! Even though Mercury is retrograde, these are fully active days! It is amazing the power of this electric vibe. A lot of things are changing during these last days of the year. With the ingress of Jupiter in Sagittarius, the nodal axis shift, and the silent and mysterious Mars in Pisces (literally entering in Aries the 1st of January 2019), there are a lot of things going on (and in a quite paradoxical fashion). And of course, change can be very difficult, and also terrifying. But the Full Moon in Gemini reminds us about an important and transcendental universal truth: all is ephemeral.

Let us welcome the Full Moon!

Change is to one man the death of a friend,

To another the birth of a child.

Change is the shifting of soft winds of spring,

to a hurricane deadly and wild.

Change is the moving of the hourglass sands,

It’s the coming of dawn after dark.

Change is taking one step at a time,

The emotion in each persons heart.

But change in the end, will not change at all

The one constant in everyone’s lives

Change is the light at the end of the tunnel

The healer who opens our eyes.

The Moon in Gemini is in opposition to the Sun in Sagittarius. The Sun in Sag is in a conjunction with Jupiter, who is in his domicile sign Sagittarius, and with Mercury Rx.

The Moon in Gemini and the Sun-Jupiter-Mercury form a T Square, with Mars in Pisces on the head. So this position can indicate changing thought patterns and thinking a lot about the future, and about where have we are taking our lives in terms of its evolutionary path and purpose. There can also be a look at the past and the decision we have made. What would it be like if we had taken a different route? These thoughts can leave us a little bit moody and sensitive to our environment triggers.

The Gemini Moon can also illuminate those parts of ourselves where we feel lonely. The need for a social environment, communication, relation, having fun, talking and exchanging all kinds of chit-chats. After all, they are necessary! And if this is not happening, there is room for sadness.

With Mars in Pisces, silently operating in this peaceful sign, there can be emotional breakdowns, arguments, discussions and conflicts. All these conflicts are being triggered by the emotions awakened by the “existentialist” thoughts we might be having.

Mars in Pisces is a special placement, which tends to work under the surface. It is a situation in which we deal with the conflict between wanting to be in a state of supreme peace and bliss, but at the same time we struggle with the apparent complications of reality. And this can cause tremendous emotional strain (under the skin) and in some cases a chaotic state of being.

You should not be surprised if you see yourself engaged in activities to “forget” or to “let the mind go”, such as drinking, for example.

On the other side, we have Saturn in Capricorn, his domicile sign, in a sextile with this Mars in Pisces. This points to some utility during these days. The things in which we are investing the more thoughts, which we are lately worrying about, those are areas which require special attention, and therefore some dedication. Areas in which we need to grow and become stronger. Some things in reality are not always as we want them to be. Some things need to be first accepted, then digested, and then worked through. Right now, there are opportunities to direct ourselves to a vision in which we feel in harmony with our reality and with our soul.

Another point of attention is the opposition between Venus in Libra and Uranus Rx in Aries. This, added to our Full Moon in Gemini, can point to impulsive communication in our relationships, impulsive decisions regarding to money, and in some cases, an electric feeling of physical attraction. Things are being fully shaken up here! Venus in Libra with charm, seeks for aesthetic comfort and good company! Uranus Rx opposing her in Aries awakens the impulse, the electric feeling of taking possession of the situation, and the real necessity!

These days are indeed crazy. There is an unusual paradoxical vibe going on in the skies. Despite everything said here, this vibe is not negative. It is just unusual, bizarre, crazy, but also totally exciting. Makes us feel the adrenaline and the rush on of being alive, of participating in this beautiful universal chaos, and enjoying the falls and the rises. After all, the Sun just entered in Sagittarius, with the boss of the sign at home (Jupiter in Sag!). So even though there can be moments of emotional breakdown, chaotic feeling, erratic behaviour, and of a deep unacknowledged necessity rooted in something we actually cannot even grasp, these days go through the air of fun heated by the fire of optimism!

Magically, conflicts come and go without any effort. It is the mutable air of the Gemini Moon. We think of something today, but tomorrow we are devoted to something else. This Moon reminds us about the ephemeral nature of life, always changing. Things coming and going. Problems rising and then fading.

Our minds and souls are becoming stronger, as we learn every day more about this important lesson of the changing nature of life. As we learn that nothing is forever, and that things end, but then new ones are born. Our thoughts are never the same. But a long-term vision should be held, despite the fact that it might also change!

The Moon in Gemini reminds us of the creative power of the mind, the heart, and the soul. Our infinite potential to give life to things that never existed. Imagination exists. Have you ever thought about the miracle of day-dreaming? You are literally creating something in your mind, something that never existed before. The mind exists in another plane, and yet, it exists.

Even though things in reality cannot be controlled as we do in our day-dreams, they can be adjusted in accordance with the harmony between our hearts and souls.

The year is coming to an end. But this is a special end, opening the doors to a whole new life stage. We need reflection, emotions, thoughts, constructive thoughts and a sense of connection with the universe though a meaningful way. Change is not easy, and many times it is not fun. But this Moon in Gemini is teaching us the opposite: to enjoy the change through a playful attitude. Using our already known gifts, and discovering more and more innate gifts which came into us with the first breath of life!

Enjoy these days with total perception and consciousness. Accept the change. Accept the new adventures, the new journeys, the challenges, the falls and rises, accept the difficulties, accept the ease. Let your thoughts rock. Let your creativity flow. Let your emotions flow through. Let the impulse talk (under Saturn’s limits!). Feel the electricity of the change that is coming. The adrenaline run. Don’t give too much time to what appears to be bad, but instead, focus on how to change it so that it feels good. We have innate unique gifts. Use them! Keep the vision high. The vision of this joyful dance of life.
